Prayer is important.  It may be the most important part of being a Christian.  The Lord Jesus gave priority to prayer in his life.  The saints through the ages have taught the importance of prayer, and many would testify that prayer has been the refuge of their soul in heights and depths of their own lives.

In this study, we will look openly and honestly at Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and Christianity and the essential beliefs of Christianity with respect to the other religions studied.

United Methodism

Begins September 3rd, 10 sessions.

For the first five sessions, we will explore frequently asked questions about Methodism including our heritage, our theology, and the Sacraments.  The final sessions will explore Methodism's "Three General Rules for living"--do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God--and how they  are applicable for our lives today.

This study takes a look at the pilgrimage theme found in Psalms and explores the major feasts of Israel.  for the ancient Israelites, pilgrimage was a three-times-a-year journey to the temple in Jerusalem;  for New Testament believers all of life becomes a journey together toward the new Jerusalem.

Informal Bible Study.  We will meet, offer prayer needs and pray.  We will choose the boo in the Bible to study.  We will read verses, and discuss what we hear, or what the Spirit is bringing to us to share together.  When we finish a book, we will together choose which book we study next.  We will close with a prayer each Monday.
