Dear Church Family,

I appreciate and am indeed excited about the opportunities and adventures which lie ahead in my new position as Director of Children’s Ministries.  In considering this position, I have reflected fondly on my own growth as a child through the ministry opportunities provided to me as a child, building a wonderful Christian foundation upon which I have grown my faith through the years.    I remember the ministers and special volunteers who were so faithful in their commitment to growing kids in  Christ … and now as I am facing this challenge, I find myself excited about the opportunity but also aware of the serious “responsibility” that comes along with it.  I appreciate your words of encouragement and your prayerful support as I embark on this new journey.  Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to use the talents God has given me in a new way to provide a foundation of Christian growth and effective faith journey for your children and those we’ve yet to reach in our community.

Children’s Ministries Updates

Wonderful Wednesday—Our Wonderful Wednesday program

is going strong as we have about 100 kids participating each week’ along

with a wonderful crew of volunteers who make this program possible.  

 

In October, our core virtue will be DETERMINATION—deciding if it’s worth it to finish what you’ve started.   We are currently looking for at least 2 additional volunteers to teach during Bible Time—this involves presenting 3 short prepared lessons over a 1 1/2 hour period.  If you’d be willing to support Wonderful Wednesday by teaching, please contact me!

NOTE:  There will be NO Wonderful Wednesday pick-up or program on Oct. 17th due to Fall Break nor on Oct. 29th due to the Fall Festival!
