...Laying
the foundation for life long learning in a loving Christian environment
Purpose: Mom’s
Day Out and Stepping Stones Preschool is an important outreach of FUMC. We
provide a structured environment in which your children, ages 6 months through
5 years old can worship, learn, and play throughout the year. MDO and SSP have
a low student to teacher ratio, with two teachers in each room, offering
children adequate attention while away from home. Along with early childhood
education, the program strives to give children a basic Christian education
and opportunities to participate in community service.
Mission: As an early
childhood education center, our mission is to provide a healthy foundation for
learning within a safe, structured, stimulating and nurturing environment. We
foster physical, social, spiritual, and intellectual growth as we prepare
children for their next educational step in preschool and ultimately
kindergarten.
