Family Life Center Happenings

I hope that this newsletter article finds you doing well.  I hope that God is doing a great work in your life.  I am very excited about what starts this month.  We begin practice for Upward Basketball and Cheerleading, which reminds me of a passage in Matthew 9: 35-38 “Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every sickness.  When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.  Then he said to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”  What an awesome remind of the job we have to do, and I can’t think of a better place to start than with our Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Ministry.  I encourage each and everyone to plug into this ministry somewhere.  You will be blessed more than you know.  I want to tell you about our Flag Football Awards Night we had 170 people attend wilh 4 children giving there heart to Jesus.  That is very exciting.
