The Traditional Worship Services are held in our historic Sanctuary.  Steeped in tradition and symbolism, Traditional Worship brings people together every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Music Minister Rev. Billy Luttrell leads the chancel choir and congregation in song using the United Methodist Hymnal and special music programs.  Notes from the pipe organ and grand piano fill the Sanctuary and are sometimes joined by traditional instruments such as the flute, violin, cello and hand bells.

Our Traditional Worship Service honors the formal order and setting of centuries of Methodist worship.  Liturgists assist in the services leading the affirmation of faith and reading Scripture, while young acolytes light the altar candles and assist in serving communion. The Apostles’ Creed, The Lord’s Prayer, and the Doxology are a part of each service.

Our Traditional Worship services are routinely led by our Sr. Pastor, Rev. Tonya Elmore, with services periodically led by Associate Pastor, Rev. Ryan Martin.

We offer childcare for all worship services.
