Tonya’s birthplace is Chicago, IL, but while she was still a toddler, her family moved to Iowa where she would spend the next twenty years of her life.
Tonya’s parents now reside in Paxton, FL and her younger sister, lives in Freeport, FL.  Tonya has never married, but she is the parent of a wonderful “fur-child” Sadie who has also been adopted as the mascot for the First United Methodist Church of Enterprise. At the 2013 Annual Conference Session Tonya became the senior pastor of the Enterprise First United Methodist Church after having served six years as the District Superintendent of the Mobile District as well as several other appointments to local churches throughout the conference.  Tonya received an Associate of Arts degree from Muscatine Community College in Muscatine, IA (1982); a Bachelor of Arts degree from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL (1988); and a Master of Divinity degree from the Theological School of Drew University in Madison, NJ (1992).  Tonya was ordained a deacon in the Alabama West Florida Conference in 1991, and was ordained an elder and received into full membership in the conference in 1994. While not officially “at work” Tonya enjoys riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing golf, or relaxing with a good book.


Rev. Ryan Martin is a native of the panhandle of Florida.  He grew up in Wewahitchka and has served churches since 2003.  He has served as a youth director in Wewahitchka, pastor of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Grand Ridge Florida, Associate Pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Wetumpka Alabama, and Senior Pastor of the Liberty United Methodist Church in Notasulga Alabama.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Troy University and a master of divinity from Emory University.  Ryan has a passion for community service and has served on numerous advisory panels in the communities in which he has resided.  He has also served as a volunteer firefighter and instructor for most of his adult life.


Rev. Billy Luttrell is the Minister of Music at Enterprise First United Methodist Church. He was born and raised in Kentucky and graduated high school from Mercer County High in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He graduated from Clear Creek Bible College with a Bachelor of Ministry in Bible and Church Music. He received his Master of Church Music degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has served churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, and Alabama. He and his wife, Janis, have three children and three grandchildren.


Jaime Knicely was born and raised in western Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Fitness Management.  She has worked in children's ministry and churchwide event planning for the last six years, and has been on the staff at our church since 2015.  Over the last eleven years Jaime has also dedicated herself to serve alongside her husband's company units, on several FRGs (Family Readiness Groups) as FRG leader, hospitality chairperson, and treasurer.  Jaime lives in Enterprise with her husband Keith and their three children.  Jaime enjoys volunteering at her children's schools, playing board games with family, and cheering on her Pittsburg Steelers.  Her favorite part of our church is the caring congregation, particularly its community outreach programs.

Lenore holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Maine, where she was a graduate assistant who conducted the 86 voice Collegiate Chorale.  She received her Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance from North Park College (now University) in Chicago, Illinios.  She and her husband David moved to Enterprise from Montrose Colorado three years ago to be near their son and his family.  Their daughter lives in Arizona.  In her past, Lenore has been an Adjunct Professor of Choral Activities and Organ Instructor at Chipola College in Florida, and private schools in the various places they have lived.  Her primary fulfillment of her love of music has been as Director of Music/Organist at different churches.  She has directed all ages of choirs in choral, handbell, and instrumental ensembles.  Lenore also had the opportunity to direct area-wide hymn festivals for ecumenical and interfaith gatherings in Maine and Colorado.  In Montrose, she was asked to be the musical director for a number of musicals put on by the Magic Circle Theater.  Since moving to Enterprise, she has been one of the directors of Wiregrass Chorale, plays the organ twice a month for the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, gives organ and piano lessons, plays organ and piano for First United Methodist Church, an dleads the 3rd-6th grade Children's Choir at our church.

Milesa still claims Tennessee as home, even though she has lived in Enterprise since 2003.  In September of that year she began teaching a class of two year olds at Mom's Day Out.  In the following year Milesa moved up to the three year old class.  She completed her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2007 and has been teaching four year olds in the Stepping Stones Preschool since 2009.  As Assistant Children's Director she coordinates nursery staff, leads Children's Church, and performs a number of support functions for the Director of Children's Ministries.  She is a member of First United Methodist Church and cannot imagine doing anything more fun or rewarding than teaching preschool children.


Jacob Hartley is the director of the Family Life Center. He was born and raised in Dothan, AL where he graduated from Northview High School in 2011. After graduation he went to Troy University in Troy where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services. He has always had a passion for helping others. While not at work, he enjoys playing guitar, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

Travis James is the director of youth ministries.  Travis grew up in Montgomery, and is a lifelong member of Saint Luke United Methodist Church.  He is a licensed emergency medical technician and has served in various ministry contexts since he was a teenager.  Prior to coming to us, Travis was a facility manager at a YMCA facility.


Janis Luttrell is the administrative assistant at Enterprise First United Methodist Church.  She is also the church pianist/organist where she ministers with her husband, Rev. Billy Luttrell, who is the Minister of Music at EFUMC. Janis was born and raised in Live Oak, FL, although graduated high school and attended college in Avon Park, FL.  Janis and Billy have three children and three grandchildren.



My name is Lynn Dieckow and I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan.  I attended Western Michigan University and graduated in 1979 with a BBA.  After several years in retail management, inventory control, loss prevention and accounting, I became the Financial Secretary for EFUMC in June of 2009.  My husband Frank and I became members of EFUMC when we relocated to the area in October of 2006.  We have a daughter Kayleigh who will graduate from New Brockton High School in 2017, and a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Hayley who live in East Rochester, New York.



Tammy Ezzell is an Enterprise Native. She attended Enterprise City Schools and after graduation from Enterprise High School in 1981 she attended Troy State University Dothan studying Early Childhood Education. Tammy began working as a teacher and office assistant at Mom’s Day Out and Stepping Stones Preschool in 2005 and was hired as the director in 2011. She has worked with children in some capacity for approximately 25 years. Tammy is married to Charlie Ezzell and they have two children, Chase and Mary Catherine, and one grandchild, Alivia Anne.

Margaret is the assistant director of MDO and the Stepping Stones Preschool.  She grew up in Atlanta where she attended DeKalb College and Georgia State University.  Music and dance have always been an important part of her life.  From early childhood she studied piano, violin, and flute.  During her college years, Margaret opened a dance studio where she taught ballet, tap, jazz, and gymnastics for sixteen years.  She has worked at Mom's Day Out and Stepping Stones Preschool since 2000 and continues to share her love of music, singing, and playing instruments with the children.  She also participates in the EFUMC chancel and handbell choirs.  Margaret has two married sons, Alton and Matthew, and four grandsons, Harrison, Campbell, Merrill, and Chapman.


Shirley has been working at Mom's Day Out and the First United Methodist Church nursery since 1999.  She is an Enterprise native, but has lived in Tennessee, Illinois, Florida, Mississippi, and Hawaii as a Navy wife.  Shirley has three sons, Rod, Kevin, and James.  She has three grandchildren, Kyle, Courtney, and Alexis, who all enjoy traveling, especially to Disney World.  Shirley says that she truly enjoys her job and takes extreme pride in playing and working with children while ensuring their safety.

Heather is originally from Louisiana, however she has spent most of her life in Enterprise.  She attended Enterprise City Schools, as well as Enterprise State Junior College and Troy University.  Heather began working with children in her teen years, volunteering in her church.  She has taught vacation Bible school and Sunday school in various churches and served as director of the children's ministry at Union Grove Baptist Church in Chancellor, Alabama from 2003-2007.  Heather is currently a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Chancellor, Alabama.  She loves working with children and feels that to be able to do so is a spiritual gift and calling from the Lord. 

Amanda is originally from Florida and moved to Alabama with her family in 2001.  Amanda started working at Mom's Day Out as a substitute teacher in 2011.  She later moved into a full-time teaching position with our youngest children in the Kangaroo and Bunny classes and now works with our two year olds in the Bear and Lion classes.  Amanda loves working with children and says she is very thankful for the opportunity to work in such a wonderful environment.  Along with her husband Charlie they have four children and three grandchildren.

Rebecca grew up in Enterprise and attended Enterprise Public Schools.  She worked in childcare for nine years before becoming a teacher at Mom's Day Out in 2015.  Rebecca enjoys spending family time with her husband and their son, who attends MDO and Steppings Stones Preschool.

Hilda was born in El Paso, Texas and raised in Mexico.  She attended a private Catholic school from preschool through high school, followed by two years at El Paso Community College.  She and her husband moved to Enterprise after his retirement from the military.  They have three adult children and one granddaughter.  Hilda loves to cook and bake, and does an excellent job in our kitchen each week.  She loves Enterprise and loves to play.  She is a perfect fit at MDO.

Brandi was born in Panama City, Florida and raised in Enterprise.  She is married to Josh Maloy and they have one daughter, Lexie.  Brandi enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, cooking, and working with children.  She also enjoys working with the youth group at her church.

Louise is originally from Canada.  She attended the University of Ottawa where she received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Elementary Education degrees.  She has taught school in Canada and Cairo, Egypt, and worked as a children's librarian.  Louise is married to retired US military chinook pilot Greg Peters, and they have two children, Haley and Blake.  She enjoys spending time with her family camping and hiking.

Barbi grew up in a large family in a small town in Germany.  As a young girl, she used to babysit and realized that she wanted to work with children, so she attended a trade school and earned certification to teach children in a German preschool.  Barbi worked in a Christian preschool for five years until she married.  After her children were born she became a stay-at-home mom until she began teaching at Mom's Day Out and Stepping Stones Preschool.  Barbi's husband serves in the US Army and they have lived in both Germany and Alabama several different times.  Their daughter Emily is a senior at Auburn University and their son Mitch is a senior at Enterprise High School.  As a family they enjoy the outdoors and love to hike.  Barbi loves her job at MDO/SSP.

Kim is originally from Sacramento, Kentucky and is married with three children.  She and her family settled in Enterprise when her husband retired from the military.  Kim was a stay-at-home mom for fifteen years before she started working at Mom's Day Out in 2005.  She was a caregiver to our youngest children in the Kangaroo Class for six years and has been teaching our three year olds in the Frog Class since 2010.

Claudia is originally from Turlock, California.  She and her husband have lived in Savannah Georgia, Clarksville Tennessee, and Germany while serving in the US military.  Claudia has worked  for seven years in Child Development Centers at two military installations and began teaching at Mom's Day Out in 2014.  Her hobbies include reading, running, and spending lots of time with her husband and two children.  They attend First Baptist Church in Enterprise.

Stephanie has taught at Mom's Day Out for ten years, working with various age groups.  Prior to working at MDO, she cared for children in her home.  Stephanie and her husband Ronnie are both originally from New Brockton and enjoy being able to raise their children, Corey and Gracie, who attend New Brockton High School in the same city where they grew up.  Stephanie says she enjoys her work and the satisfaction that it brings to her.

Regina recently moved back to Enterprise from Savannah, Georgia to be closer to family.  She started working with preschoolers in 2008 at Camp Humphreys, South Korea.  Regina loves working with preschool children and feels blessed to work at EFUMC as a substitute teacher and extended care teacher.

Kaleigh was raised in Dunelin, Florida until the age of seven when she and her family moved to New Brockton, Alabama.  She loves children and all kinds of animals and enjoys working in the EFUMC nursery on Sundays and Wednesdays and Extended Care for Mom's Day Out.  Kaleigh is a senior at New Brockton High School and would like to  continue working at EFUMC after graduation.  Eventually  she would like to join the Peace Corps.

Tanya began working at Mom's Day Out in 2011 and has previous experience working with preschoolers while living in South Carolina.  The military brought Tanya and her husband, now retired, to Enterprise.  They have lived here six years and have three adult daughters.

Roberta enjoys working with small children.  She began teaching in the Stepping Stones Preschool over five years ago after retiring from teaching first grade in the Enterprise City Schools.  Roberta received her undergraduate degree from Birmingham Southern College and her Masters in Education and an additional post-graduate degree from Troy University.  She and her husband, also a retired educator, have three adult children and six grandchildren.

Loretta was born in Germany and grew up in a military family.  She married into the military herself and has had the opportunity to live in and travel to many interesting places throughout the world.  Loretta and her husband moved to Enterprise in 1997.  They have two adult children, the younest of which attended the MDO program.  Loretta has worked at the church for over fifteen years.  Her hobbies include traveling, spending time with her children, and working in her yard.

Nicole grew up in North Carolina and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Piedmont Baptist College in Winston Salem.  Upon graduating she taught first grade for two years.  Nicole and her family lived in California and Germany before moving to Enterprise in 2011.  She and her husband have two children who have both attended the Mom's Day Out program.  Nicole began as a substitute teacher at MDO and SSP and is now teaching in a Stepping Stones Preschool class for four year olds.

James was born in Troy, Alabama and lived in Brantley until his family moved to Elba when he was in the 5th grade.  He has been working with the church since 2006.  James is married to Lynn Parks, who also works at the church.  He studied paint and body repair at MacArthur Community College.  He enjoys remodeling vehicles, but his favorite hobby is spoiling his three grandchildren.

Lynn was born in Opp, Alabama but has always lived in the Elba area.  She has been employed at the church since 2005.  Her husband James also works at the church.  They have one son, LaWayne, and three grandchildren, Kelcey, Payton, and Brodie.  She really enjoys the family atmosphere among the staff and members of the church.
