Rev. Gary Daniel was born on February 19, 1948 in Marion, Indiana to James and Mary Frances Daniel. He came to First United Methodist in Enterprise on June 18, 2006.  He attended Indiana Wesleyan University and Graduated in 1970 with a BS in Elementary Education.  He Married Pamela Brooks Daniel June 9, 1968.  They have Three Children David, Michelle and Alan.  Gary and Pam also have two Grandchildren, Collin 4 years and Kaitlyn 1 yr old.

After graduation from Indiana Wesleyan in 1970, Gary taught elementary school for two years in Montgomery, AL.  In 1972 he was employed by the Alabama Farm Bureau and became Vice-President in the Underwriting Department.  In 1985 he answered the call to ministry.  He received his Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 1988.  Gary served at Epworth UMC in Eufaula AL from 1985 to 1988.  St. Mark UMC in Montgomery AL from 1988 to 1994.   Parker UMC in Panama City FL from 1994 to 2000.  Brewton FUMC in Brewton AL from 2000 to 2005.  Summerville UMC in Phenix City AL from 2005 to 2006.

Pam was born and raised in Montgomery AL.  She is the daughter of Fred and Willodeen Brooks.  Pam is very musically talented.  She grew up singing in church and school choirs and has taught piano for more than 20 years.  She directed the choir at Epworth UMC, St. Mark UMC and Brewton UMC.  Pam has served as church pianist for churches in Eufaula, Montgomery, and Panama City.

Gary’s Grandfather, J.L. Daniel, Sr and Great-Uncle, W.F. Daniel were ministers in the Alabama-West Florida Conference.
