Rev. Matt is a native of Arab, AL, but his wife, Mary Evelyn is a true native of Enterprise. Matt's passion is making disciples, preaching, and congregational care. At First Methodist Church, Matt's greatest desire is for everyone to come together as we seek to follow Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Matt is a graduate of the School of Christian Studies at the University of Mobile and of Asbury Theological Seminary where he completed an MDiv in 2022.
Rev. Gary A. Daniel
Pastor Emeritus
Rev. Gary A. Daniel was born and raised in Marion, Indiana. He attended Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL, and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1970 with a BS in Elementary Education. Having always been active in his local church, Gary answered the call to ministry in 1985. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Chandler School of Theology at Emory University in 1988. He was ordained a Deacon in1987, and admitted into full connection as an elder in 1990. Gary served at Epworth UMC in Eufaula, AL; St. Mark UMC in Montgomery, AL; Parker UMC in Panama City, FL; Brewton FUMC in Brewton, AL; Summerville UMC in Phenix City, AL and Enterprise First Methodist from 2006 until his appointment as District Superintendent of the Marianna- Panama City District in July of 2010-2014. It was Gary's intention to retire in 2014, but instead Gary accepted a pre-retirement appointment to the Brantley Charge in Crenshaw County, retiring in 2016 after 31 years of service. In 2018, Gary served as interim pastor at Opp First United Methodist Church, serving there for 11 months, and now serves as Pastor Emeritus at Enterprise First Methodist Church. Gary has been married at Pamela Brooks Daniel of Montgomery , AL for nearly 52 years. They have three children; David, Michelle and Alan.
Rev. Billy Luttrell
Associate Pastor and Minister of Music
Rev. Billy Luttrell is the Associate Pastor and Minister of Music at Enterprise First Methodist Church. He was born and raised in Kentucky and graduated high school from Mercer County High in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He graduated from Clear Creek Bible College with a Bachelor of Ministry in Bible and Church Music. He received his Master of Church Music degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has served churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, and Alabama. He and his wife, Janis, have three children and three grandchildren.

Milesa Eagan
Director of Children's Ministries
Dr. Amy Young began her ministry at FMCE as Director of Family Ministries on December 17, 2023 overseeing ministry to students and young adults. She was born and raised in Alexander City, AL and served as the Minister to Children and Families at Stone Ridge Baptist Church in Alex City for 13 years. Dr. Young earned a B.S. in Biology from Mississippi College in Dec., 2009, an MDiv in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) in Dec., 2017, and a DMin in Next Generation Ministries from NOBTS in Dec., 2023. Her passion is to partner with parents in making disciples of the next generation who are equipped and empowered as the church of today and to resource family units as they worship the Lord in the home throughout the week.
Milesa Eagan is a Tennessee native but has lived in Enterprise for 20 years. She attended Middle Tennessee State University and later Kaplan University where she received her associate degree in early childhood. She has taught preschool for over 20 years and worked at First Methodist as the nursery coordinator for 10 years. She became the Director of Children's Ministry on October 1, 2023. Milesa's passion is to equip the youngest in the congregation with the resources and spiritual foundation needed for them to become disciples of Jesus.
Tammy Ezzell
Mom's Day Out & Stepping Stones Preschool Director
Tammy Ezzell is an Enterprise Native. She attended Enterprise City Schools and after graduation from Enterprise High School in 1981 she attended Troy State University Dothan studying Early Childhood Education. Tammy began working as a teacher and office assistant at Mom’s Day Out and Stepping Stones Preschool in 2005 and was hired as the director in 2011. She has worked with children in some capacity for approximately 25 years. Tammy is married to Charlie Ezzell and they have two children, Chase and Mary Catherine, and one grandchild, Alivia Anne.
Gina Cruz
Administrator
Gina Cruz was born and raised in the foothills of Sierra Nevada just outside Fresno, CA. In 2004, she received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fresno. Throughout the years, Gina has been a stay at home mom and military wife while volunteering in various church administrative roles along the way. She now hopes to use her gift of accounting to help First Methodist Enterprise grow and be fruitful in the community. Gina and her husband Ruben are looking forward to making Enterprise their forever home with their three daughters.
Janis Luttrell
Administrative Assistant & Pianist/Organist
Janis Luttrell is the administrative assistant at Enterprise First Methodist Church. She is also the church pianist/organist where she ministers with her husband, Rev. Billy Luttrell, who is the Minister of Music at First Methodist. Janis and Billy have three children and three grandchildren.
Lynn Parks
Housekeeping Director
Lynn was born in Opp, Alabama but has always lived in the Elba area. She has been employed at the church since 2005. Her husband James also works at the church. They have one son, LoWayne, and three grandchildren, Kelcey, Payton, and Brodie. She really enjoys the family atmosphere among the staff and members of the church.
James Parks
Maintenance and Grounds Keeper
James was born in Troy, Alabama and lived in Brantley until his family moved to Elba when he was in the 5th grade. He has been working with the church since 2006. James is married to Lynn Parks, who also works at the church. He studied paint and body repair at MacArthur Community College. He enjoys remodeling vehicles, but his favorite hobby is spoiling his three grandchildren.
